Title: Hungry after running/exercising?
Post by: White Giant on May 10, 2008, 22:26:27 PM
Ive been doing a little running etc lately, and Ive found that about an hour later Im am absolutely starving. I understand why and all that gubbins, but I dont want to exercise and then an hour later eat loads of crap.

Ive read that vit B6 can help, or some specialised sports drinks. Any thoughts?

Keep your stomach warm :) and drink water instead of eating.

Thirst is often mistaken for hunger.

RIch is spot on - so many people eat when a drink would suffice.

Failing that I opt for carrot and celery sticks :)

Tried drinking loads (of water) last night, and it didnt help.

Im not exercising long enough (yet) to sweat that much, and as I havent done much in the way of proper exercise in the past couple of years Im thinking its either a shock to my system, or a tell-tale sign of a poor diet?
