As time goes on the price is going to drop as cheaper materials and techniques are found. In a few years we might all be driving them rather than the present day ICE cars.

Most cars dont have anywhere near that power though so conversion should be considerably cheaper.

Would be nice to think that in 3 years time something will be around that is commerically available (and viable for Joe Bloggs), but Id be guessing were still looking at 5-10 years at least?

according to that article... all the other car companies will have cars available to "the average driver" within 5 years.... the only problem is.... theres no hydrogen/petrol stations yet....

Aye, what Im thinking is that fair enough these cars will be available soon-ish, but "available" will likely mean more expensive than most would want, and with very limited refuelling options. Its a bit of a catch 22 as I doubt the fuel stations will get the refuelling gear unless theres the cars/demand for it, and people wont buy the cars without the refuelling support.

I guess though in the near future petrol stations will be more commonly known as fuel stations :|
