Post by: Badabing on May 16, 2006, 10:45:15 AM

in 15 years of mountain biking and BMXing, ive NEVER attempted to "grab air" and after seeing stunts like this go wrong, is it any wonder?

skateparks are just like that though...  Even if you dont skate theyre worth going to for the sheer carnage of people constantly stacking themselves.  Its all good fun and I still miss it

Looks more like a coccyx and taint smoosh vs. a total ballbuster.

Too true :)

Although I stopped missing it when at the old age of 22 I stacked a AirWalk down a flight of about half a dozen cement steps. I landed on the back of my deck, flew (gracefully) backwards landing on with the bottom step in the base of my spine and the others running all the way up my back.

At that point I decided that it was time to perfect the sport of drinking as that seemed safer !

I was tempted to don my Skates again last summer, and after finding out the parks still open round here and will only be 2 miles from our new house its tempting, but ive not got the balls i used to have (nor has he!!)

That looks like a seriously crammed park, and bad design. Though.

Whenever we took people to the park on their first visit they always left ending up in hospital. 3 friends, 3 virgins, 3 snapped wrists. lol.

luckily i got out before i did any damage... there was nothing quite like dropping in from a huge height!
