Could end badly if you followed his instruction while driving in Britian!

Theres certain stretches of road in my area which are 60/70 and people do 40 in. Lots of accidents (because of it being a gentle curving road around an airport, people either start to look at the planes and keep going straight on >< or people going 40 looking at the planes annoy someone enough for them to overtake and hit someone coming the other way ><)

Solution = change the ring fence to wooden fence so people stop looking at the planes, and stick more speed limit signs up (1 at either end of the long road at a roundabout obviously isnt enough)

Ive frequently wondered about printing out a page in "mirror" on A3 that says "Its 60MPH!" to hold up for the gawkers. Failing that, going along at night sticking up some unofficial speed limit signs...wonder what the fine is...

I want one, Ive been up and down the A1 for work all day and the amount of people hogging the middle and outside lane really annoys me, over take then pull back over damn it!!!!

The A1 is absolute gash, I hate it. Full of clevery positioned speed cameras too designed to catch you out (behind bushes, over the crests of hills, etc). Hate it.

These are annoying, but my real pet hate is the ones who are determined to do 65 in front of you. You go past them, they accelerate, overtake and then slow down to 65 again :guns:

only way to get rid of them is to put the hammer down for a mile or so to get them out of line of sight, but you shouldnt have to speed just for the priviledge of doing 70MPH.

I think one major problem is that people are not taught in their lessons about lane discipline. Youd think it was common sense but my instructor taught me, if its safe get over to the left if you dont need to be in the right hand lane anytime soon.

Or it could be the fact people are just twats.

I just sit part in their side mirrors with my lights on if I want some one to move over and they soon get the idea.

Do the police not keep outside lanes clear?

Over here the traffic branch will regularly tear up the overtaking lane at 80-90 mph to clear people out of it that are lane hogging.

Are you kidding me!?! Of course they dont! Supposedly better things to do...

We have these new Highway Patrol things, they are rather pointless, all Ive even seen them do is cruise up and down in the left hand lane...

Theyve helped me once but in the end it was down to the AA man. But I suppose they are good in the way that for small incidents they dont have to call in the traffic cops to deal with say some one broken down.

They do? Meh, maybe they dont care round Bangor.

Im having occasional fun sticking to the 30mph limit on the first six miles of the M1 at the minute. That really annoys people, even though Im keeping to the inside lane :)

Theyd not even catch up to the people in the outside lane at that speed on most of the motorways iv been on.

Spotted a nice new rolls this morning in my mirror. Just managed to get a piccy of it before the lights changed.

Saw him about a mile on in town with the roof down and it had the full interior pack that the top gear lads had when James May was test driving it during the night.

Some guy was tailgating me today in a 30 zone, just around school run time, ok so I wasnt *that* close to a school I was on a straight road and could see quite well up it and behind me and even the tailgater.

He annoyed me, Im going to drive more than 30 in a residential zone at school run time, so just before the speed limit went up to 40, I slipped it into 2nd and braked, not to much but enough for him to slam his brakes on. Saw his Sat nav come off its poorly made perch and he did the generic wanker hand signal.

He just didnt get the fact Im not driving faster no matter how much he loved and kissed my ass. It those people that I hate.
