What do people think of them? I actually quite like them (frameless windows as well iirc) altho id prefer a turbo one if possible.. dont even know if they do them! Not bought any "real" jap metal before either..

theres some rules to the replacement car..

1: no toy cars (gotta be sensible)
2: no FWD as its ghey
3: less than Ã,£6k
4: Sommit nice lol

not a fan of the subaru tbh.

what you think of these?

1999 BMW 325TDS SE Touring Manual
the above one has just come up for sale, very nice car.

i also know of a near mint 200sx s14a that is available.

i do like BMWs.. im yet to drive one tho and the image that comes with the car might be an issue. How much is that just out of interest?

Ive had an older one. Nice cars. The frameless windows are pretty neat. Very high quality interiors usually compared to Honda and Toyota. Engine is a flat four, so nice handling. Drawback is that they get piss poor economy compared to other Jap or Korean cars. Not that that matters here with $2 gas. Look into that, and the UK spec might be different. Id drive one again in a heartbeat. Theres nothing more practical than a medium sized wagon.

Binary Shadow

iv still got my eye on range rovers.. but the running cost could be an issue tho

Binary Shadow

medium sized wagon lol.. id call that large over here

tinyurl.com is nice for those of us that dont have 50" monitors.  ;)

Dont expect to get more than 25mpg out of the 2.0 engine in the Subaru, and thats if you drive it gingerly. :P

Binary Shadow

cheers for that

i dunno theres a fair few motors about for the money (3-6k) but it is slashed down by avoiding FWD, still loads to choose from and think about.

Might have to go for a few test drives
