Title: Landrover model 109
Post by: bear on July 27, 2010, 22:46:19 PM
My friend bought a 1961 Landrover model 109 for £440 converted to a towtruck with a 3.5 metric ton winch. Is that a fair price ?

Doesnt sound to bad when you consider the "Scrappage Scheme" has pushed up the prices of most low end cars, i would say thats a bargain.

I figured it was a good deal. Forgot to tell, it has a 2.25 liter diesel engine.

Thats a later engine I think.  I had one in my FX4, pretty good on juice, but prone to oil pressure issues.
