Title: Lowered and New Rear Diffuser
Post by: chrisdicko on March 26, 2009, 14:59:42 PM
Had the car lowered a while, and got the geometry setup this week, so handles quite sexually now. Also fitted a new rear diffuser. I need to replace the bolts with black rivets (if I keep it on). It doesnt do a thing other than look good (IMHO). Sorry for the dirtiness, I normally keep it cleaner than that :D

Next things to go on in the next month or so are: new turbo, injectors, front mounted intercooler, AVCR Boost Controller, and a remap. :D

Forged Pistons ;)

forged pistons will still melt - but they give slightly more room for error standing a bit more det due to the more ductile surface.

Quite like the diffuser - but I hope you put a block of wood under that rear diff!

 :whoops:  No I didnt  :whoops:

Yeah, the pistons arent bomb proof. the engine is good for 440bhp, but Im just going to take it to 420bhp to keep it a bit safer. Then if I keep wanting to waste all my money on it, get it rebuilt next year, fully forged, and maybe a stroker kit or 2.5 conversion.

I like the diffuser, nice and subtle.  Need to tone down that spoiler though imo.

I like the rear diffuser.

I dont want to change the spoiler, as it OEM STi........plus do like it  :heehaw:  Gonna get some Perrin Stiffis on it though to stiffen it up a touch, as when you go over 100 it wobbles its little arse off.

No-one thinks your fulnny either. Most of the time you put up crap thoughtless posts, so perhaps you should think a bit.

Hence why we need some forum software that has an ignore list.

Problem with an ignore option is simply that sometimes you might want the information someone you have ignored has put up. Allowing someone to ignore a moderator would be stupid.

Anyway I can always edit your posts and put my witty comments in those

Not that I would.
