i think it cut his hand off, something went flying in front of the bike!

Looks like it hit the bottom of the petrol tank and knocked that free, which cannoned into his chest.

Piston then went flying away to the front of the bike, although it seems to have hit his wrist on the way.

does look like it took his left hand off  :shock:  :shock:  :shock:  :shock:

this is why they install kevlar underneath the tanks of harley drag bikes / v-twins, cause the rear piston would most likely end up in your chest as it escapes the engine.

Scary $hit!
