Post by: Binary Shadow on October 14, 2006, 23:41:41 PM
Had my wheels on the rollers today:

Heres a video (right click, save target as.) of my wheels on the rollers, 20Mb 3min divx (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/a.woodford/rr/rr.avi)

I apologise for the poor quality and suspect camera work

Was a good laugh with some mates also running their cars.

Looks like the hampster lost a footing on its wheel. A common problem with Vauxhalls.

looks like aftermarket chip or boost upgrade gone awry! The wastegate is probably being held closed too long and fuelling is failing. There is a distinct flat spot between 4500 and 5500 rpm

TBH you would need to go get a proper map done - there is a risk you are running lean and Im sure i dont have to tell you the implications of that!

indeed you dont, im getting an AFR hooked up on the dash but being narrowband it wont be brilliant, ill probably get the fueling tested at another local RR

edit: its probably due to the overboost dropping back to the held level
