no, tbh i dont know anything about carbs, they came off a running bike so just slapped em straight on to get it started

Edd

You actually paid money for that?

Yeah, and IMO (which is the only one that counts) it wasnt bad, especially when people are trying to sell half an engine for the same money on ebay.

Quote from: Markhave you jetted the carbs correctly yet? Id treat them to a dynojet kit

Dynojet kit looks like a plan, ill get one when the bike is going back together, around £120 though.

Mark

Theyre a good job. Are the carbs you got from an identical model?

Great stuff today! Got the engine running!

Changed the coils over as i wasnt getting much spark or any from one

After some messing about it fired up despite the stale fuel. It died straight away but some messing about with choke and idle speed it started and ran fine, very happy with that! Obviously didnt run it long as theres no cooling system on it but enough for me to be happy itll be ok.

So started the strip down:

Nice! Itll be good as new in no time...

DEViANCE

looks like a great project keep it up.

my bike developed a problem today, the clutch wont disengage so it just stall when you put in gear. Im thinking slave cylinder.

soopahfly

So whats the plan with the frame and forks?

Binary Shadow

Take everything off, clean them up, repair what needs to be repaired and a fresh coat of paint

Been busy:

I just need to slap a seat and some pedals on and take this thing out! lol
