I thought you were getting rid of your mini because it didnt have enough boot space. If thats the case, why get another?

Cos Im stupid and need a toy :)

The mileage is high but its not smoky at all and it looks well looked after, and I can afford to get it rebuilt if I need to. The subframe really doesnt look that bad, but Ill get it repaired/replaced asap along with the front end.

Ill pick up an astra or something in a few weeks.

One thing that always looks smart on minis.

Remove one reverse bulb, replace it with a red fog bulb, and rewire the stoopid looking hanging fog into that bulb cluster.

Voila!  No hanging fog and 1 reverse light.

Im so going to start bringing minis over to the mainland to sell when I do my corolla GT runs - I could make a packet!

A 1990 cooper here with 70,000 miles is worth about Ã,£300

If you want to pay through the nose on private sales by all means look in the trader - i do all my buying from the free ads, and the local papers, and side-of-the-road ads.

Find me a mini for Ã,£300 as you said with a good subframe and I will take it, dont mind the spec of the engine as long as its running and I can hop it up the country bit by bit...

4 days off work but saving a lot of cash neesh :)

Wouldnt be that expensive to get over there from here - delivery would be about Ã,£120-150 on a car transporter

Ill keep an ear to the ground

You must be thinking of 20k Kilometres , note miles.
