aye they do look nice, the only thing that puts me off is the front lights, i think the car would look 10 times better with clear lights and not frosted ones as it were

heh, it already does.  You just need to buy a plug that fits into the ECU port and you can get 230 without doing anything else.

nah, i think they did do the 150bhp 2.0L in the normal range though.  That 1.8 is fun, used to get it in the Toledos as well when i was at the car hire place.

I do love it to pieces I have to say!

It is a 1.8 Turbo 180bhp by standard remapped to 230bhp, its very quick.

Its going next week though to make way for:

"DRRRIVING TO AND FRRROM JOBS VERY QUICKLEEEEY"

So youre going from a nice car to a luke warm hatch?  The slowest from the current bunch of hot hatches.

For Shame.

I wouldnt say its the slowest...

Its faster/the same/similar as most except the Mazda 3 MPS!

personally id prefer the focus ST or astra VXR, but for sure the type r isnt by any means a sh*t car

those figures are bollocks. the jdm version type r is 260 brake, and the jas version 270 brake.

Id rather the Type-R, good choice! Better build quality, and I doubt youll get as many problems  as the ford/vauxhall.
