wow looking even better than in the other photos I saw
very clean and tidy :-)
(tho your air filter does need a wash :disappointed: )
Just ordering a new front mounted oil cooler kit for the engine to try and knock the tempatures down a bit :)
getting a bit hot ?
what kind of engine mods ?
Induction, Manifold, Exhaust System.
Next £1grand I get is going on a set of duel cams for it, vernier pulley setup. After that I guess its either a Supercharger or just a small turbo.
tidy as f**k mate, very very nice!!
Jaimz
wow that looks great for a car thats nearly as old as me
Cheers lads :) Picked up for £900, with literaly thousands and thousands spent, full engine conversion etc.
Im not a Golf fan much but thats a really nice and well looked after example. Steal!
Incorrect number of doors!

3door and Children dont work. ;)
I quite agree, but I miss the days when I could drive a 3 door car, not have to carry a car seat in the back
absolutely no need for an oil cooler unless youre tracking it.
Wouldnt waste money on tuning the engine - much cheaper to drop an 1800 turbo in there - they can be got for peanuts nowadays!

Im going to drop the sump bottom end out next week to see if its the bottom end that is giving it heating problems...
Also get the Injector Flow checked out.
Could be a faulty standard oil cooler, faulty temperature sender (likely), lean running or numerous other things
Is it just the oil thats running hot?
