1966 Ford Transit MK1 12,011 Miles from new, ex Fire Brigade in Germany
No rot, clean underneath, starts and runs well
Engine swap? I can even supply you with a low mileage 335D Twin Turbo or 740i or perhaps a Supercharged Jag engine! :P
if that was RHD, I'd blow you just to sit in it !
is it at your work ? they go for good money, the guys on the ford transit forum will cream there paints over it
Apparently they are easy to convert to RHD cus they come with the mountings on both sides.
It belongs to a customer of mine, he is german, he has two of them, the other one has done less miles and is 100% original paint. You don't want to know how much he wants for them :P
they're easy to convert.... problem is finding the bits you need from a RHD one for the conversion :-(
decent mk1 vans normally go for about 6k ish ?
if the other one is spanking condition then it'll be crazy money :-o
Your on the ball he is looking for £5750 ono on this one, i could ask him if he has the bits, he is always buying loads of bits at ours
I'd love to buy one.... but I haven't even started putting bits on my camper yet... had that about 3 years now ?
:-(
Over 3 years. I've been at this job for 3 years next month! Time flies.
At least i can get bits now, transit panels ahem. :P
