Ive always wanted a primer black pre 50 ford, but never got around to it. Had a bunch of friends in a rockabilly band out west though, that all drove such rat rods. Their back yard was littered with the corpses of old Lincolns and such that had offered up their engines. Good, basic, and greasy. No billet aluminum need apply.
Anyway, ran across this clubs website with some cool traditional merican hot rods. 8)

yes, pearl white and some red flashes and it would be beautiful, that paint job wankers it.
I dont like it either, matt black paint never works on a car, it just looks cheap and horrible. Normally used by people who cant afford a real respray.
But then my opinion differs from the ops so I wont bother posting.
edit: oops.
yuck :gag:

Personal opinion maxi ;)
basics is a nice old fashioned american gas guzzler but eveh I dont apreciate it being painted mat black. Would look fantastic if it was gloss tho, ultramarine blue? :)
Love them!
That 49 ford is almost like the car Stalone drove in Cobra! Id give my testicals for a 51 coupe.
