Miss_kinky is thinking of getting some of those car covers for her seats from Argos/Halfords, but considering the cost of the faux leather ones I suggested she get them professionally reupholstered.

Anyone have any recommendations or potential links, looking for a Pug 106 3 door 97?

DEViANCE

i doubt it will be cheap, ive looked into getting my door cards re-trimmed and they where talking £500ish. that was leather and suede though.

might be worth looking on the bay for saxo/106 seats, bet there are loads.

Yeah we just did that, £150-£200 for new seats, of course the GTi leather ones are a sight more. I think its better in the long run if shes keeping the car for more years. She spent £30 or something on seat covers from Argos and they are already worn, now shes looking at more expensive ones... it just doesnt strike me as cost effective.

I looked into this a while back, fur never stands up to the constant sitting on, and will wear.

I found out to re-upholster my 95 Rallye itd cost about £700 to £900 professionally, that was a random link I found off google.

Velour is a good material to have for car seats.

Id get some seats from a scrap car and then re-upholster them tbh.

Or if you want green and cream Leather seats, find a Rolland Garross and then you can just change the interior.

Eggtastico

my brother gets his done when he gets a new car.
Not sure how much he pays, but it must be reasonable or hed replace them with new seats

Binary Shadow

seems pointless to me considering the resale wont be pushed up much by the retrim and itll cost a ton

Mark

Strip it out completely, 2 front bucket seats, lower it by about 60mm. Engine out of a VTS saxo. Sorted.

I think its more about comfort and personal satisfaction rather than resale value.

If I could be arsed to get my car seats retrimmed in leather I would, but I dont plan on keeping it that long now.

yoink a set of seats from a higher spec 106/206, imagine theyd be on the same subframe/runners
