or hit another car at 30mph head on doing 30mph

DEViANCE

not really as the other car would absorb alot more energy than the concrete.

i like the way the airbag actually directs the face into the dash :P

QuoteThat Rover sounds a bit dire if you decide to drive into a concrete barrier.

Its a bit dire driving anywhere in one.

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

redneck

there is more crash safety designed into bins than that car

Back to the topic the suspension fluid pipe valve can fail. This can be bought from a dealer and used to be about Ã,£10. Its nothing more than a modified tyre valve really. Replace the valve, pump back up and jobs a goodun.

The handling is shocking!  Devi obviously hasnt driven any half decent cars.

A wooden plank, with shopping trolly wheels has more stability than one of those.

lol. I have never actuly driven hard enough to make the car understeer onto the other side of the road.

but I bet it wont handle like your old mini.

Rofl!! :D I love it :D Its like... here we place a head guidance system, the thought behind it is... well your f**ked anyway if you have a crash in this car, may as well make your death quicker than it would be otherwise :D

The handling on a mini is nothing to write home about either - the hillman imp is a far, far more capable car than a mini

minis were good. Could never loose control of a mini.

no it isnt. even on a bog spec one with no anti roll bars or shocks and 155 tyres the handling is brilliant. i have managed to scare dozens of people in a 1.1 on b roads.
Then the GTa/GTi with front and rear arbs and extra shocks is even better i have out paced lots of much more powerfull cars around a track in a standard GTi.

hillman are notorious for oversteer so not to sure what you talking bout tbh.

I can throw my mini round a small roundabout @ 45mph without any problems (had a little understeer once with redneck in the car but thats cuz I hit the power to hard)

I wouldnt mind a go in an Imp.

The 100 I only drove a couple of times and it really wasnt that bad, but the 1.1 isnt nearly enough and makes it a horrible car to drive.
