Title: Rover 200s are breeding
Post by: Pete on July 20, 2007, 16:56:16 PM
Its a conspiracy.

The old box-shaped 214s and 216s are cloning themselves in vats full of radioactive liquidised flatcap and pipe and are taking the chav world by storm. They are the new 15yr old Nova, it seems.

Srsly, there are 4 parked in the roads round my house and I saw 3 of them on the way home tonight all with silly alloys and gti badges glued to their boots at wonky angles.

More seriously, Im not surprised actually - theyre cheap as dirt and are pretty nippy and quite comfy too.

its white 400 series round here.  Specifically the 416 GTi and GSi, there are plenty on the ground as well.  The 2 BAe sites used to get massive discounts on new Rovers

the 1.4 rover k-series was spot on before 1995, but the 1.6 honda unit is bomb proof.

both mine are 1.4s.

Still got my Rover 414 SLi  - it does the job. Gotta get the leccy windows fixed though as it gets bloody hot sometimes! Only problem with the car I have is that it steams up at the first hint of rain and you cant see out of any of the windows making it a tad dangerous!!
