GM to close Saab (http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/engineering/article6961723.ece)
I know the cars were a bit... pedestrian recently, but I am really sad to see such an iconic brand bite the dust. What are the architects and graphic designers going to drive now?

Because they have good taste? I know thats a stereotype but it applies to most of the gay guys I know. Not so much with the lesbians though.
Apart from they generally wear pink and buy iApple iProducts.
newer saabs are nothing like the old saabs of the 80s and early 90s imo
Well the 9-3 is a Vectra with different clothes and less space inside. According to one of my colleagues who has one (family man ;) ) it doesnt drive any better than a Vectra. If you want to charge BMW/Merc prices for premium compact saloons you need to have their build quality I guess. The 9-5 was supposed to be OK though.
