hes the man!! w00t
Impressive. :)
I wonder if you put him in a rally car, not mine, and then let him loose over some dirt rally or somthing, with a bit of training, how far hed get before crashing.
I dont like Michael Schumacher, I dont get a good feeling when I hear about Schumi.
I also dont agree with drivers from different nations driving different nations cars. Schumi, as much as it hurts to make me say, should be with a german manufacturer, like Mercedes.
If youre from, say Austria where theres no car companies with F1 teams, tough:P (nah just kidding, you should then be able to choose your team, or try out for any team that wants you.)
Does he still have the fastest car?

Nope
I wonder if he could actually manage the record using a 1994 car...
i suspect he could tbh

You dont think the technology has moved on considerably enough in the decade since Senna set the record then?
No chance he could do it, he is to used to his mod-cons and thast what he knows to drive with..
considering hes 7 times world champ so was winning at least 7 years ago id say yeah he could do it

Poison does raise a good point, youd think the car could do 60 round a corner, but really it could only do 50 or somthing, youd slide off.
7 years... Still F1 and cars in general 7 years ago where pritty technical and advanced...
Was he not sitting in a considerably more powerful car than everyone else for a lot of those years ?

all the teams were under the same rules, they all had the same potential
are the current f1 cars that much faster than those of the past? there are alot more restictions these days isnt there? no turbos, no sill skirts etc. they where out lawed because the cars where getting dangerously fast.
yep dragging F1 back into the dark ages.
Bring back REAL F1 with the newest kit and the cars going as fast as they can make em i say!

So was he in a more powerful car or not ??
i dont know, i dont have a rolling road bhp print out from all the cars running from those years so im not able to tell you. and im not going to throw out an opinion on the matter
I am nearly sure I remember reading he was over 100hp up on the rest of the field ?
Skill doesnt come in to it as much in that case
id like to see some proof of that tbh
The cars in the eighties had up to 1200bhp - vastly more than they do nowadays _ im still googling for the modern day outputs
Im glad I raised the issue with you gentleman :-)
Conclusive proof with peace of mind will be our reward
Unfortunately the only F1 I know about is bike Formula 1 - having been a road racing fanatic for 20 years
i think the current power outputs are around 800hp
