Well on my birthday I entered my first competition at Elvington, York....was a very very wet day!! Would have been a lot better in the dry, but never mind, it was still fun!
Really enjoyed it, but I now realise I seriously need some practise and need to get my launches right, as they were letting me down. Only managed 14s on the quarter mile  I will improve that though with some practise.

Im in the process of getting a new short block built, using a closed deck block for added strength, all forged parts, and making it a 2.1 Stroker. Hopefully will be able to afford some head work, but not sure on that yet.
Will be getting a new ECU to tie it all together, and will have launch control with that, so that will help me a bit more....although it is cheating a bit. :P Will be hoping for around 500bhp next year with a standard fit turbo.....otherwise I will have to get a rotated setup, which isnt cheap either :(
youre right !
your launch did suck :(
:p
looks like good fun tho, did it cost much ?
lol, thanks :P
Was £70 for all day, but I only stayed until about 2 as it was so wet.
This would have helped:
