A well placed kick in the bumper can cause £11k worth of damage :gag:

This is rightly doing the rounds!
Thats a fella on a local car forum here.
Id still have one tbh even if they do cost an arm and a leg to repair.
I really dont understand why anyone would want one with that kind of liability hovering at the front of the car for any minor knock. Its not worth the loss of sleep when there are probably donzens of cars of relatively equal footing that dont have such a silly and expensive safety system in place. Thats simply astonishing.
Was the 11k a real price for the work it did the guy simply get fleeced?
Probably the latter as he went to an authorised dealer. Almost always a licence to rip you off.
Ive never really liked the new skyline, and (if i had a crapload of money this is) would buy a 911 turbo 9 times outta 10 instead of a R35

He didnt get fleeced, that was the cost of the parts, bumper, hydraulic arm bits, bonnet, ecu + fitting i believe he waited 5 weeks or something for the bits to be done to.

I think it looks good and if I had the money id get both the R35 and the 911 ;p
But the Skyline is cheaper than the 911 well, the 911 Turbo Id want anyway. :p
