that describes most citroens :D
id have refused it anyway. POS imo.
lol, think my old headteacher had one of those, had to wait 30 seconds or so for the suspension to lift the car up before driving off. :D
First car I ever rode in, but only cos I had to get to hospital.
Otherwise I woulda walked, ta.

They would have to pay me to take one
I like em!
Its a CX GTi 2.5 Turbo 2. They are getting increasingly rare and expensive. Youd pay anything up to 5,000+ for a decent one with the leather interior atm.
Officially the power was quoted at something like 160-170bhp. Theyre more like 190 - classic car mags regularly get 190+ out of them.

Arent these the freakyass things with the indicator on the dashboard and other such lunacies?

Exactly. Radio is also to be found by the handbrake, indicators, lights and wipers are all on the dash and there is enough room in back for a tennis match. Dash will take some getting used to - looks something like this
IIRC clarkson reviewed some new citroen type thing like that & was dissapointed that the indicators werent on the celing & the doors didnt slide open or something along those lines
seems like that thing is a bit of a classic

its considered to be a design classic. Its mental, but they are very collectable purely because no bugger bought them new.
Any pics Mark?
