Hi mate - the TFT is a Kenwood DDX-6029 Head Unit and was a replacement. Nice kit..has Sat Nav, TMC, Bluetooth phone and ipod control upgrades..

You see those heater controls in a lot of jap cars. I think the 350z and the Rx8 have them..would be nice if they were proper alloy tho  :heehaw:

I agree with knighty, they look naff. I was going to say the dogs bollocks but that might have been confused with them looking good...

loads of other cars have them and they look naff in those as well.

I like the dials but its all bit too plasticy for me. Considered chroming up a bit, or maybe a bit of brushed alu?

What does the "turbo" one actually measure? And is KITT voice activated on your model or do you have to to push a button?

it measures the turbo boost pressure..... aka the air pressure into the engine

Not the same thing, DEViANCE, the compression from the turbo is 1.4, the actual engine compression is far higher than that ;)

1.4 is high, but not unheard of. My friend has a 200sx and runs his at 1.4 Bar most of the time.

Its fairly high I guess but a lot of scoobs run much higher.

Dont forget that its custom tuned to that level as well, ie not just the boost turned up. Its mapped well within the safety margins of the engine ie enough fuelling, no det or knocking etc etc..
