Title: This weeks sightings
Post by: maximusotter on June 03, 2006, 03:18:25 AM
Yesterday: very hot chick in shorts and knee high boots on a Harley Sportster (the only model I mildly approve of)--a bit of a Tea Carrera lookalike...with Hong Kong license plates!

Today: Three Dodge Chargers painted up as the General Lee within minutes of each other.

Scimitar light tank beats an Aston Martin, you dont go very fast with a 30mm shell through your motor...

They do meets on the front @ Lytham quite often, im assuming that fact there where quite a few in procession there is some kind of meet this weekend.

Funniest one i saw was a Speed12 (protoype I assume) that a moron in a 3-series BMW decided he could beat at a roundabout.  ive never seen a car take off that fast  8)

Its a silly car.  Youd be amazed how nicely it held the road though, it wasnt really the monster Wheeler painted it out to be.  How recently did you see it?  If it was in the last year or two it would have been the only one built up for a customer.  I was working there while it was in build, worked with the guy doing the engine for a while.

hmm, 2/3 years ago i think, IIRC from seeing it in my rearview it ws the older bodystyle, which is why i assumed it was the prototype.  Sounded gorgeous, im assuming they where taking it to the road at Treals they use for "testing".

Well, theres bucket loads of 911 around here, and a couple of them are Turbos. Saw the new XK for the first time yesterday and an AMV8 Vantage this afternoon.

Rarest thing I saw recently was also this afternoon, a Range Rover Vogue that was actually properly covered in mud.
