Its back ont he 23rd December, preceeded by a James May programme about his childhood and doing stuff to old toys and followed by Richard Hammond meets Evel Knievel.

Entering a 24 hour race with a second hand BMW was rather heroic. One of the more interesting ones.

On a different note, how long did rspec take to deliver your gauge?

I ordered fuel pressure, EGT and AFR off them on thursday and have heard nothing since.

i cant remember exactly but i was quite disapointed by how long it took IIRC. Over 7days i think.
It was around the postal strikes time i think though.

3rd in class is an achievement for a novice alone. Lets not even start thinking about it being done in a 2nd hand BMW 330, that was falling apart.

If they didnt have the stig/ben collins it would have been majorly different though!

Sometimes they push the suspension of disbelief thing a little far but it was a good episode.

On the one hand I wish theyd get rid of "Star" in a reasonably priced car cos its always crap but on the hand other it gives me a tea break.

/I got the supercar showdown dvd the other day, I watched most of it and its not bad.

Without Ben they wouldnt have got past the start line, all due reverence to him. Stig too, although he could be a bit more talkative. Perhaps they should give him a board and dry marker? :D

Sometimes its the best bit in the show and at others it sucks mightily bad. Entirely depends on who they get on.

I think they should do a new part of the show where they take part in different motor sport cheaply and see how they do.
