Title: Washing your car - PITA?
Post by: Clock'd 0Ne on July 13, 2012, 16:51:38 PM
Before the foul weather struck I took the opportunity to wash my car and its still looking good two weeks later, water beading off and dirt not sticking thanks to the wax, which is nice, but also I have to recall what a pain it was, especially since I have no access to a hose from my flat and only one proper bucket to keep refilling. It was also pretty hard work as it had been left so long. Is it easier to keep clean and well waxed if you do it more regularly?

Anyone else find it a pain and would rather go to the turkish citrus hand wash/petrol station, or do you actively love it? Main reason I'm doing it myself is because I bought one of those £10 bucket kits ages ago to save money and also because I don't think soft tops get treated to well otherwise.
