Ok.
Selling and buying a car is a pain in the arse, I dont think that your current car being percieved as an unlucky one is decent grounds to sell it on.
Was the hire micra an unlucky one ? maybe you should consider going on a couple of advanced driving lessons before you start blaming the cars?
Just my 2p, I had to go on a 2 day advanced driving course after a crash that could have easily killed me, made a big difference.
mmm, without sounding like an arse.... if hes used to the rover then drove the micra.... it would be very easy to drive the micra like you drive the rover...
every time I drive my mothers fiesta I have to remember to take it easy because Im so used to the power/grip of the bm.
Out of those the A4. Something like...

This may be more appropriate

Thats been remapped so I wouldnt bother
Yet another downloaded generic flash off the internet applied to a VAG ECU.
Plenty of black reek out the back under acceleration and load.

You ever seen how easy it is to roll one of those? :o
DEViANCE, BMW would suit joo sir, but a bigger lump under the bonnet. Or go for the Audi ;)
What about an Alfa?
Or Id go with an Audi or Skoda Octavia, massive nside and just a different badge to a passat/A4/etc etc
Quote from: mr_rollWhat about an Alfa?
he might prefer to drive a car rather than push it ;)
at least the Rover is a Honda Chassis and BWM Engine.
BMW engine doesnt mean a damn thing - only good one they ever did was the M10 - the rest are very ordinary.
Rather push an Alfa than drive a BMW/Rover.

A bad example, but Id still go for some sort of Audi.
its a rover engine, and its pretty good to be fair, only downfall is it is very unrefined.
the bmw engine is in the 75 and ZT, its the M47, its a nice drive, extremly smoooooth but not very revvy due to the huge flywheel.
the chassis is excellent, and is a joint effort not just honda. the honda electrics makes sure it doesnt have any problems though.
I think im going to keep the ZS and drive abit slower, also do abit of sound proofing to make it abit more comfy.
Ive been looking at the Audis recently, fancying a change to something more luxurious. Thats what I would go for out of all those cars suggested.
funny that iv been looking at Audis to, saw a 95 A6 2.6 SE today, bit tatty but cheap (sub 1k) prefer the later ones, want a 2000 2.5 TDI SE really
Why not a Volvo? like a S60 D5 185ps model a good 35+mpg if driven hard from what Ive seen.
mm, I remember being in the back of an A4 sam was taking for a test drive..... didnt like it much tbh L(
felt a bit cheap :o
Save up for something like this... http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/TVR/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146,N-62-144-4294966359/advert.action?R=200740296094071&distance=160&postcode=NE27+0AZ&channel=CARS&make=&model=&min_pr=&max_pr=&max_mileage=

Thats all very well, but what was it like to drive though?
And of course you are going to feel cheap, once hes had his wicked way I bet you didnt even get a lift home.
Guy i used to work with traded his A4 for an M3, then traded the M3 for an S4. Said the M3 felt cheap and not as well put together as the Audi
audi certainly have bmw licked for interiors - apart from seats.
you have tp pay a premium for a bmw with all but the sh*ttiest of interior trim levels
just had my head turned by a nice Ovlov S60 D5, really really like it but dont want to sell the MG now

One of my previous bosses drove one, would be about 2 yrs old now, but it was nice and big and comfy to sit in.
