Last time I went on the drag strip I did a time of 17.2 I think it was and then my back box clip fell off, meaning I had to take my back box off as it was dangerous and I drove home with an very loud amplified noise of my exhaust as it was a sunday evening and no-where was open to get one.

had major problems on the rolling road after a flawless on the road mapping session. Wouldnt hold any boost above 1.4 bar - a bastarding boost leak because my bendy pipe wouldnt seal on the intercooler pipes, and there is a restriction in my exhaust manifold (the adapter) causing the turbo to glow like the sun.

I have the exhaust manifold off right now and am getting a new adapter made up. Have also ordered a load more silicon elbows and am going to roll-tip a few more intercooler pipes and get rid of the sh*tty bendy pipe.

Encouragingly though, even with a MASSIVE boost leak at 1.4 bar she did 488 bhp before I had to cut off for the day after an injector seal blew out due to backfire caused by the boost leak.

Rebooked for 4 weeks time (Only time I could get) and we reckon 600bhp should be what were looking at at 1.8/1.9 bar with no bastarding boost leaks

Do you ever have problems when you drive your little AX and then you get in some powerful car and its a totally different set-up, any problems trying to figure out where the biting point is or anything like that?

488 doesnt sound as good as 600 though! Im looking forward to being able to post the video of that. Its a sickener knowing it will easily do another 100+ but a stupid thing holding me back

The only real problem I have is the comfort level - I have proper racing seats in the Mr2 and theyre really uncomfortable.

The clutch is also really annoying because its so grabby - and the 2-way diff makes you look like a total amateur when youre doing a slow turn!

why what happens when u do a slow turn?

Moved wideband to lower end of downpipe

welded large lip on to all my intercooler pipes

replaced green stripe hose with silicon elbows and aluminium tube

replaced crap wolfkatz injector seals with my own adapters

ordered new manifold adapter

Booked back on rolling road on March 2nd.
