What did ya think?
I think the series is getting better and better, I really laughed a lot, at Jeremys S-class interior designing  hilarious stuff there, he turned it into a cottage!
I broke my chair from laughing :D lol.
Leant back on it too harshly and it went BANG! ended up on my back on the floor pissing myself laughing at both hammonds antics in the mercedes s class cottage and the fact that I broke my chair :D
The interior design bit was funny, but it cant come close to last weeks efforts.
Worst episode of the series so far I thought, still top-notch TV though.
Shame there was no live action footage of Hammond giving the ugliest Porker known to man kind the death it deserved.
Remind me not to let Clarkson redesign the interior of any car I buy...
Seeing the Stig drive the Konigsegg with spoiler was good, although it seems to be deja-vu, a previous one had the same problem IIRC.
I personally think Clarkson is a bit of a knob, but an entertaining knob all the same.

Yes,
hes a right wing, tory boy who lives to satisfy his own desires and doesnt give a sh*t about other people.
His stance on the environment, speeding and other things is plain to see, he goes out of his way to irritate campaigners and deride goverment policies on such things. Hes a tit, basically; but he makes good television on the back of this, that said i dont think i could spend 5 minutes in a room with him.
Of course you could, providing it was a really big one and you stayed in opposite corners... ;)
Crap! Just finished downloading The Driver and watched that, now I deleted it though.

100% agree with everything you said there. Have 5 stars.
So, the Cayenne Sport is officially the most pointless car in the world then? An off-road vehicle which cant go off road because the wheels are too big to get proper tyres on and you cant put smaller wheels on because they wouldnt fit over the brake disks? Nice. No use as a proper sports car as it would be too big and too heavy to handle as one.
Why dont they market it as a bleeding Chelsea Tractor then? Better off getting a Range Rover Sport if that kind of thing floats your boat
is it Cayenne Turbo S? if so thats faster than a range rover sport, plus when they revealed it, it was on some sand dunes in dubai, showing that it could actually go off-road

Believe it was and according to Top gear, the size of the wheels did not allow you to put off-road tires on the car, and to fit a smaller size of wheel would mean that they wouldnt fit over the giant brakes it has.
Looked like it handled like an oiled fatman on a slip and slide to be honest on the footage.
And sand dunes arent exactly "off road" considering that with wide enough tyres and low pressures any car would likely handle perfectly fine on them.

hell i used to take one of my Golf GTis on Southport beach before they stopped up the gaps, you dont really need off-road tyres on sand.

It said the company couldnt supply them, other tyre manufacturers might be able to supply suitable items.
Sand does require different tyres though so everyone can be right here..
lets face it, if youre gonna get a 4x4 to go off road, you get a landy, this cayenne is just for porsche to get into the lucrative SUV market, who can blame them either

This is true, it was never really designed as a true off roader.
had to watch it streaming off the bbc site at low res but finally watched it.
the cottaged s class was hoot eh?
lol @ the bad handling remarks - the cayenne turbo famously posted laptimes getting close to a 911 around the test circuit - bear in mind though i havent watched the show yet so its prob handling on gravel knowing my luck!
Also - what use would the range rover sport be? Less ground clearance, same problem with the wheels, more weight and far, far slower!
A standard land rover to me looks like it shouldnt go offroad either - there is crap ground clearance where the diff housing is - It looks less than some small cars!
Offroad = UNIMOG :)
Bowler FTW.

erm actually very fast, good handling & pretty nifty in the desert
though yes pretty useless in the UK - great for arab sheiks though

tend to do better with 4wd - some places you can sink a bit - basically a powerfull engine + 4wd makes plowing through dunes easier - the porshe is actually ideal for this
