Post by: dogbert on May 11, 2006, 02:43:17 AM
I want to convert my CDs to MP3 Format - Can anyone recommend a good package, Im after reliability and features, not speed.

I would like to record an Audio streaming [MP3] radio link - Does anyone have experience and recommend software?

Thanks - DB  8)

CDex for dows. Use the lame encoder. Fast, great quality, and dead simple.

Great - the Streamripper is perfect, actually better than I expected splitting the stream into correct tracks!

Havent tried the CDex but dont see any reason it shouldnt work, but doesn it have an feature for finding a CDs track listing instead of just track 1-10etc.

Get a copy of EAC (Exact Audio Copy) to accurately rip your CDs. It can get ID3 tags from free.db and rip the audio output to myriad filetypes.
