And thank god. Transcode 360 is so buggy with Vista.

Transcode kept stealing the focus on my Vista machine, every couple of seconds.

Looks like it may be time to retire the XBMC.

So what is the point of adding it then if you cant play a divx file from your computer?
What do you do, stick a disc with divx files and play off that or say your ipod as a file?

I should imagine it works over a normal network or off your massive HFS+ formatted HDD.

I thought mpeg4 support would be a great addition but as far as I can see...

- It wont load files from CD or DVDs
- It wont load files I have copied to my ipod in disk mode

Maybe Im doing something wrong  :?

For those naughty people with banned consoles, or less naughty people without XBL, here is the update
http://rapidshare.com/files/74216557/UPDATE-2.0.6683.0-HDD.rar

Extract that file and burn the directory $systemupdate to the root of a cd or dvd.

Pop it in your 360 and reboot.  - This doesnt include the media update.  You need an xbl connection for that.
