So it looks like we have keyboard/mouse (+PS controller) support for the 360, which is great for all of us PC FPS addicts, but HOW MUCH!?!

Ã,£50!  :shock:  Plus youll need to buy a wired controller (and keyboard and mouse if you didnt have one to use with). Pretty steep!

You can stick any USB keyboard into the 360. I do it now for messaging; although I dont know about in game use...

I dont want this to work in any game :P

I mean i hate using controller for FPS games (Im a PC gamer mainly) but at least you know everyone out there is on equal footing when playing online.

anyone remember quake 3 on dreamcast and people could get on usiong the PC verion... it was a massacre!

I was thinking the samething but then there has been a lot of noise recently about being able to link games across platform using the Live! service.

Im with you Dooms on it being a bad idea; I only enjoy console based FPS because everyone is on an equal footing, take that away and whats the point ?!

Simplicity is the major attraction for console FPS no doubt about it. That will always remain - plenty of online gamers who know f all about PCs and internet etc...


Q3 dreamcast was hilarious though when a PC user got on. I was ok as I had (stil have!!) a dreamcast keyboard and mouse!!
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

ill be getting a KB and Mouse but not for FPS but for C&C and hopefully somemore RTS that will be coming out.
