Think I'll stick with my trusty NDS until they drop in price (by half :P)

I want to play with one, but only to see how effective/cool 3D is without the geeky glasses..

Could buy one from the states but with nintendo now region locking them fully you would have to import every game for the 3DS, god knows why they did that, beauty of the DS/DSi was it wasn't region locked. I got a mass of imported games for the DS that are useless with the 3DS.

Other than that, it's priced higher than all consoles, the games are to be £39.99 rrp,3 hours battery life and region locked. Think I will wait for a revision od a 3DS lite equivilent, better battery and atleast another 69+ quid off the price.

No idea, but looks much prettier than the actual 3DS IMO..

I really don't want to spend £200 on a handheld console, but I've just got back from an event Nintendo are doing and played on a few games on the 3DS and the 3D effect was much better than I was expecting.

Now I am really tempted to get one, but may wait until the drop in price a little before buying.

That means the NGP will be £299 at least ^^

Games on both platforms will probably be the same as console prices as well.
Daft.
Least the NGP is looking to be finally something you play on console and over the cloud have your save game and just pick up right on the handheled where you left off.
Of course Sony really need to do deals so game makers make a ps3 and either it comes with the NGP version for free (like steam does with mac to pc) or at least at a very reduced price.

Anyway on to the 3DS - The 3d is good. IF you look head on and do not move your 3DS or your head to much. Considering some games envolve moving the console around too it kind of spoils it.
The 3D is not the amazing feature about that handheld. It is a good update though ignoring the 3D. IF they did not have the 3D in there and lowered the price it would be a decent upgrade and would sell just as well.

Didn't really have any problems with viewing the 3DS consoles from different angles. They 3D seemed to work well no matter where I looked at it from, didn't need to be head on and I played about 10 different games on them.

The upgraded graphics are great on it though and games I played included Street Fighter 4, Res Evil 5, Zelda, Kid Icarus, as well as others. There was also an augmented reality game on show too.

So did anyone bother then? Poor launch titles and battery life pretty much killed it dead for me :dunno:
