Title: A Night At The Museum
Post by: Cypher on December 27, 2006, 23:27:17 PM
A suprisingly good movie.  Exceeded my expectations.   I knew it was a familly comedy when I was dragged out to see it but I was pleasantly suprised to find I think it is a film almost anyone will enjoy.

Steve Coogan and Owen Wilson are good enough,  Robin Williams was excellent as usual. Ricky Gervais as the museum director was one of the worst piece of casting I have come across.  I wasnt sure what sort of character he was supposed to be, he came out as one of his alter egos.

If your in the mood for a straight forward laugh with likeable characters, go see.

4/5.

Crap crap and more crap sums up this movie. Save your money, it just isnt funny. I dont normally mind Ben Stiller but in this he was simply atrocious. Its been a long time since Ive been dragged to a film that had me climbing the walls trying to get out before it finished.

I found the film got better as it progressed.  Someparts were somewhat slow or streched.  Didnt flow as well as it could have.

I found it harmless. I probably wont watch it again, but saying that if it was ever on TV I wouldnt turn it off.

It was a good family comedy, if I had kiddies this would be the kind of thing id like to take them too.

I watched it and didnt find it funny or entertaining.

Ricky Gervais acts just like he does in the office. Although it was nice to Dick Van Dyke

I felt the same actually, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was overall, considering its a family film. The only let down was Gervais, who should go home with his tail between his legs.

Ended up watching this last night, have to say it had about 3 funny moments . . . if forced.

But yeah, one for the kids more likely.

Maybe Ben Stillers only funny when hes allowed to scream profanities.
