I finally got round to watching predators this morning. Didn't think it was as bad as I'd heard. It got me thinking how people rank the films from the 2 (or 3 if you count AvP as a different one) franchises.
For me, from best to worst:
Alien
Aliens
Predator
Alien 3
Predator 2
Predators
Alien Resurrection
AvP

I'll agree with Quixoticish - think their order matches mine :)
I'd never even thought of ordering them cross genre. I would have to put Predator 1st/2nd simply because next to Aliens it is one of my favourite and most watched films. Looking at the placement of Predator 2 seems quite low but then when I look at the films that creep in above it in your lists, I think that's respectable (even though I think it is needlessly panned sometimes because it's a perfectly good film).
