Due out late 2008, Aliens: Colonial Marines! Multi format.

dunno if I like the idea of having a team of peeps in these scary type games

I remember having aliens vs predator on my old PC years ago and that was pretty cool - bit better playing the lone guy exploring the abandoned base etc...

still the screen shots look pretty cool

Love the AVP games.. 1st one scared the sh*t out of me, it was just always so dark and things attacked so quick.

AVP2 was alot more atsmosphere (better sounds and objects falling and scaring the crap out of you) but overall wasnt as dark and freaky.

AVP3 has ALOT to live up to, and maybe this alien game will live up or COMPLETELY fail.

Not sure I do either - the 4-man online co-op will be a test of nerves for sure.  4 of us left... 3 of us... 2 of us.... hey.... guys?...  :0hnoes:

Apparently, theyve got the sound just right in this... and sound plays a major part of the brown factor.

The bit that played the brown factor for me was the "Oh crap an alien! - Oh, too late...it just eviscerated me" in AvP1
AvP2 seemed a little more relaxed haha. It says it all when my fave was as a predator as it was a bit more of a laid back mode than the others.

Relatively speaking its not long been announced and they already done this much work on it
I hope they work on the textures some more in places, looks a little flat, the aliens do not look quite right yet

Meh, I doubt that my computer would be able to run the game at a setting high enough for slight problems with texture to be noticeable :D

Finally another Aliens game, the AVP games were great fun if somewhat scarey and this just looks so much better.  They look good, bung in some good ambiant music and that will be a good game.

Just if they will be able to put in being able to play as the Alien, that was always fun.

You certainly wont care when one of those Aliens is coming at you at lightning pace.

Yep, because Aliens is over in 2 mins after they decide to take off and nuke the site from orbit....

Actually Id bloody love something like that to be in the game. Set a destruct going and have to get out of the complex as fast as possible before your 15 minutes is up. Queue the score and youd have a top notch final episode.
