I'm at around level 30 now, there seems to be a bit more skill to this and less luck than with crush the castle. Some of the later types of bird are quite different too

what browser and what version? If it is say IE8/7 it will not work. It is not a google marketing scam.
This uses the latest html5, css3.... etc and so because chrome has all that as a chrome app (which is what it is aimed at) it will work fine. FF4 also being right up there too it works great on that as well.
IE9 and MS still do not get web standards despite all their marketing bull crap and does not work to well with things.

Worked fine for me the first night Egg posted it, doesn't work now, i can only assume they have put something in the code to make sure your using Chrome.
