I must be missing something though.
What they need is a horrific car crash a minute in to demonstrate the importance of actually wearing your damn seatbelt.
Apparently the girl insisted to sing live with no effects etc to prove that she can sing:
I think it is safe to say it backfired, lol.

This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Disney.
WTF
I have no idea what has gone wrong with teen pop, but
It's banal, banal, everyone knows it's banal. Shoot them all and burn, the, tapes, up :w00t: :ptu:
Don't worry, there has to be worse out there.... :o :o :o :tinhat:
but what has Disney got to do with teen pop ? , why are they claiming copyright ?
Apparently the record company that produce (and write) these songs record songs or albums for rich teenage kids. They're parents pay them to try and make their child a popstar. As you can tell they don't have as much talent as money

Except in one case in X thousands they do make an impact of sorts, in this one it purely shows how bad the writers are, unless their daughter is a fairly brainless 13 year old bimbo and wrote the lyrics herself...
If they had given her decent material then it might have produced something actually worthwhile. Still, all publicity can be regarded as good publicity in this sort of situation, it gets you noticed. Having been on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno I can safely say she's managed the difficult part - getting into the public eye and selling some recordings. For whatever reason she's done better than 99%+ other music hopefuls with a hairbrush. Now she's got to prove that she can actually perform or vanish into obscurity again.
Hopefully she'll actually get a songwriter to produce something that's worth recording and releasing or do a cover.
Apparently she's donating her proceeds to help in Japan and her school, so at least some good will come of this.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Companies see a way to make money of someone, even 13 and exploit them they will. She is on her 5 minutes of Fame. Yeah she is CRAP AS HELL and everyone can not stand it. There is money to be made off her.
this made me ROFL :)

All of these parodies and supposedly ironic covers are just as sh*t as the original.
If people really thought it was that crap they wouldn't be adding their own touches to it ad nauseum. If they genuinely didn't like it they'd look at the original video, laugh, and move on with their lives.
somebody must like it as it has over 98 million views :o :panic:
