Ive used GoDaddy before but didnt really like them. Its just for a basic site with a SQL server. A friend has suggested that I host this myself until the traffic on it becomes quite high.
For development.... yeah host it yourself.
SQL Server Express is free :)
For hosting otherwise... erm... no idea I was in that predicament myself a few days ago. :)
The thing is my broadband isnt currently a static IP address so does that mean I need to get something like No-Ip? I cant remember!
no-ip is fine :)
http://www.no-ip.com I believe I still have an account with them :) only do the free one, thatll be fine.
The other thing is wheres the cheapest place for domain names? The ones I use to have all never got renewed. The cheapest Ive found are about £2.59 for a year.
