Yes Ive googled, and Ive tried a couple of programs.
The problem is I have an AVI, and I only want a portion of it to be the animated gif.

The smaller box represents the section of the avi I want to make into an animated gif. All the programs Ive tried make the entire thing into an animated gif, and as its uncompressed footage its huge.
Any suggestions?
