Lead guitarist pulled out of another session today so Ive called it a day. Phoned them all to say its a no go and Ive had enough, they all agree its not been great since the drummer quit a few weeks ago.

The bands singer lives in Hinckley, and hes ever so keen to get something going again, so much so hes started looking for other bands.
Ive got a jam session next week all being well with a drummer friend whos not overly confident but Im at least going to find out what hes like. I want to start something again.
I just need a god damn good guitarist or two who are committed, on this planet, play a f**king solo when I tell them to and can offer ideas and even write some songs. As much as I love playing guitar I dont think Im good enough to lead a band playing one, I can come up with riffs and even solos, but Im far too inconsistent. Bass, to me, is far easier to get right.
The singer is an extremely talented guy, great voice and can write great lyrics. Ideally, I think, he wants to do something like Pearl Jam, QOTSA, Radiohead, Muse. Im after a bit of Led Zep and AC/DC but honestly up for doing anything as my tastes are so broad.
What you think? Im definitely up for a jam sometime to give things a shot, see if there is a natural energy there for some songs. The singer has told me he wouldnt rule it out starting a new band if hes not already found one.

i live in nuneaton so things arent to spaced out. i am at uni in october so we have a few months, then a 3 month break (ill be at uni but i can travel and junk) then another month off for christmas.
