Im after a good pair of headphones, the cheap sennheisers I got off play.com are ok, but im after something with some more BAAAASSS.
Ive had the sony fontopias before, and they are great headphones, but break soooo easily, so not too sold on getting more of those, despite the ace sound.
Im basically after some as I could do with some new ones, and I want to order something else along with my alphabet of manliness to get free super saver delivery
Oh, and no more than Ã,£30/40 really.
Are we talking earphones or headphones? I hear Koss make beefy earphones ideal for the bass enthusiast, given your price bracket Id be damned and say just get a pair of cheap Shure/Etys from the bottom end, youll appreciate what you are listening to far more than with bassy fart cans.

Not too fussed now, I dont mind having big ass cans on either side of my head as my hairs short and not full of poncy gel nowadays
TBH Ive never even heard of the three manufacturers you just mentioned above
Shurely youve heard of Shure?
They are pretty well known, Ety (Etymotic Research) no doubt you wont have. I hadnt heard of Koss until recently either.
Ill dig out some links for you - actually scratch that, theres about a million and one types of Senny phones and I wouldnt know which to recommend. As for the others, they arnt big cans and are expensive anyway. Well, Shure do big can but they will be expensive and I dont know how good Koss cans are.
Im liking the look of some of the Sennheiser cans, the 280 pros, the 555s they look good, pricey though :-)
Sennheissers are by far the best value in big cans. Im not sure which is the bassiest model, so youll have to research. If you were stateside, Id say get some Grados, but theyre overpriced in the UK.
my shures got f**ked after 6 months. cabling round the ears just cracked and theyre f**ked now :(

Write a letter to Shure, you might get lucky, theyre known for awesome customer service.
A real letter mind, email gets lost. ;)
Ive had my shures for ages and they havent broken. Get onto shure as max said, they may well do something for you.
If you can try and get the Sennheiser HD515s, they are pretty good for the money.
