Oh gods no, I remember watching it when I was a nipper and even then I thought it was awful.

I used the love the adventure books though.

Remember reading them when about 10-12 years old  (translated to swedish)

You know what, I also loved that movie. It's funny you mention it, cause I was looking for the bugger on usenet only a few weeks ago.

Ha I remember that film, well vaugely anyway, might have to see if I can find it and give it a watch too.
