Title: BT Home hub question - anyone know?
Post by: Mark on August 13, 2008, 22:22:13 PM
My parents have a BT home hub.

I want to put a fortinet fortigate 60 that I happen to have spare on their end of the line to set up a site to site VPN

will the bt home hub support unnumbered IP on its internal interfaces?

I have a safe@office box that I could use to solve the lot, but Im saving that for another site.

Hello, did a quick search on google and saw this

QuoteHi,

Im trying to enable DMZ on my bt home hub but i get this error when enabling it to a device:-

Failed to assign the public IP address. (failed to set spoofing pool unnumbered)

I dont know what that means, could anyone help?

Thanks

Here is a  GUIDE (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk648/tk362/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094e8d.shtml) any way to unnumbered IPs just incase people are wondering what it is all about.

The best bet is to get another cheap router that will do it.

Regards
