Title: Capture / Download streamed music
Post by: Leon on December 21, 2007, 01:51:31 AM
Software or Internet?

Ok this can lead to questionable intentions but atm Im interested in saving a couple clips from an stream of a radio show (mates interview). You search for capturing streams on goggle and there are 50 million $5 programs that promise they can do it but wondering if anyone has any good options and proven way?

cheers
Leon

Meh right its not working and I cant find anything around it so going to come right out with one of the reasons I want to do this... Clicky (http://dianaleto.imeem.com/music/icvZu1zi/jared_leto_requiem_for_a_dream/) I want this version of "Lux Aeterna" which I cant find ANYWHERE! doesnt seem to exist, everywhere is either the short version or the full two towers mix which isnt what I want...

So anyone able either to tell me how to steal a stream from imeem or where to find this version of the song?

Cheers

Tried a few programs (including HiDownlaoder) but the one that seemed to be the easiest and work the best was http://www.freemusiczilla.com/ with a seperate FLV -> MP3 convertor.

Cheers for the help guys :)

Its the software that comes with Vista for controlling sound - I dont find it as user friendly as XPs was.
