Title: cheap but good mid tower case
Post by: Mongoose on February 18, 2007, 17:00:08 PM
My sisters PC needs a new case, the old one is poorly made and cards keep jumping out of the PCI slots because the mobo tray is not at 90 degrees to the back panel

I havent bought a case for ages, so the big question is, what is the cheapest of the good cases atm? looking for something Globalwin 802 esc in terms of value for money but ideally a bit smaller.

Aerocool  (http://www.tekheads.co.uk/s/department?department=6&sort=0&filterId=374&filterValue=Aerocool) are pretty good, if not the cheapest, Im thinking of going for one of their ExtremEngine 3T Silver cases, with 25cm side fan for my next compy.

i love the idea of the big fans, but getting replacements for them could prove troublsome(and expensive)

They are identical to model motors AFAIK, the front one in my brothers case definitely is. The fan should just pull off, and you should be able to get replacement motorss at any reasonable model shop ;)

If I can get sorted I will be buying one in a few weeks, if not days. If I do I will report back...

I have an Emermax Verre 350 and thats pretty good for Ã,£27 (or Ã,£35 if you buy the one with the light). Been using one on my desktop for over a year now, no problems at all :)
