It was the culmination of Dante and Randalls relationship. One that had been based on conflict and argument, yet was still one of love that neither could express.

For all the dick and fart jokes, Kevin Smith can pen some awesome character development and interaction, something he gets very little recognition for. See also Chasing Amy and Jersey Girl.
