Title: Controlling Winamp via keyboard.
Post by: White Giant on April 12, 2007, 08:48:21 AM
I know a couple of people were looking for a way to control winamp whilst they were gaming (myself included).

Found a nice little Winamp plugin to do just the job : http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=79310

It comes with a couple of pre-sets for common keyboards, but it totally configurable. Hope this helps.  :)

lol some of us have multimedia keyboards that do the job quite well too :P lol.

For those wondering how to get the shortcuts working with winamp when its a microsoft keyboard or something without the drivers.... tick "global hotkeys" in the preferences and it should all be fine and dandy.

yup, multimedia keyboard is the easiest option, although i have to use the normal hotkeys at work (ctrl + alt + page down etc..),  :D
