Why is it that seemingly none of the wireless dektops (kb+mouse) these days have rechargable docks for the mice? Is it a way to justify the stupid £100+ cost of the top models, or do logitech have a pact with duracell?!
Anyway, the mouse is playing up. Currently using a logitech Cordless MX desktop (MX700 + matching kb) and would like to replace it with something similar (cordless, rechargeable, media buttons etc). Anyone got any reccomendations, without it costing me an arm and a leg?
Whats your max pay out?
get some of those li ithion battery jobbies (tho thats my messed up spelling + a few drinks.... ill post again in the morning so you know what theyre really called)
and a changer for them :-)
mouse takes 2, so buy 4, then you always have 2 in the charger ready ;)
i bought a logitech cordless desktop, threw the mouse into the back of the cupboard and got an MX1000 to go with the keyboard :) sorted
Im with funky on this one, my MX700 is coming to the end of its life but Im loath to replace it because I want a mouse with a charging dock.
TBH if they were still made Id just buy another MX700. Its been a superb mouse. Does the MX1000 have a charging dock? I seem to recall they went to quick change batteries at one point which does not interest me, I want to be able to leave my mouse in its dock overnight and know it will always have juice when I need it.
Ive got the logitec G7 and reall like it, had it for what seams like years now
it comes with 2 batteries and a usb charger for the spair, the charger comes with a usb "through" port, so you can use it for the tiny dongle for the mouse, or an a usb extension cable instead :)
led guage on the mouse showe battery power left etc... :)
Well, it turned out to be a few hairs covering the lens in the mouse, so panic over.
Which is just as well, as seemingly the cheapest decent rechargeable one is the MX 5000 or whatever, which costs a bomb and is buggy as hell.
omg, u drty bggr, i kno wat u use mouse 4
